Manual Therapy & Mobilisations
- When joints become dysfunctional as a result of trauma, overuse or disuse, they are unable to perform the movements for which they were designed.
- Joint mobilisation is a technique physiotherapists use to restore the small, involuntary movements that assist joints to perform to their optimum. Gliding of the joint is usually used to improve motion, normalise joint function and reduce pain.
